Workforce E-Learning Resource Network (WERN)
The
Workforce E-Learning Resource Network (WERN) was created in 2006
following the momentum generated by the E-Learning Summit at the
University of Memphis.
WERN is a unique forum for professionals from regional
organizations engaged in workforce training to learn about and
discuss e-learning technologies and implementation strategies.
WERN is an asset to regional organizations who want to enhance
their e-learning initiatives. Dr. Trey Martindale coordinates the
WERN meetings.
When: Monthly, on the last Thursday of each month. No meeting in
July or December.
Where: FedEx Institute of Technology, Room 405, University of
Memphis.
What: Meetings are usually lunches and a presentation, beginning
at 11:30 A.M. and concluding at 1:00 P.M..
You are welcome to attend any WERN meeting, and to bring guests.
Usual attendance is about 20 to 25. It we are having a lunch
meeting, you can register and have lunch for $12, or just bring
your lunch.
